Company activities and impact

GlastonBeoley CIC runs to raise much-needed funds for local charities and community groups. Through volunteer activities, GlastonBeoley CIC delivers a number of music and festival events to raise money for local charities and causes. All our profits go directly to good causes and charities. Our customers (donors) get unique and diverse entertainment, both music and the spoken word. Although previously running from 2017 as a charitable group, the CIC opened for business in September 2020. During the financial year 2024-2025, the CIC activities have benefited the community in the following ways: * We give local artists a platform for diverse expression. * We support new and unsigned artists * We support our local venues and partners by bringing them additional trade * We donate all our surplus revenue to local charitable causes * We provide volunteering opportunities to all walks of life * We have built a community of good will.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are both our volunteer musicians, and our event customers. We run regular surveys with our customers as to what they would like to see at our events, and we have feedback survey forms available from our website. We also take ideas and suggestions from our social media streams. Based on the input and feedback we receive we tune our events to demand. So far, we have run a multi-stage festival, music quizzes, raffles, silent auctions and ticketed music events.
