The Company’s director Volunteered many hours over a period of six months, helping at a food bank organised by Gurseva – a charity that collects and distributes food to a local food bank (in Heston, west London). Offered to volunteer as a Treasurer for Guidedogs.org.uk Tried to make contact with a local charity (Hemkunt) in west London to offer classes – yoga or maths. Contacted John Lyons Charity for help to establish a maths school Contacted Ramgharia gurdwara Southall to offer to teach everyday maths Contacted Norwood Hall (SGSSS) to offer to teach everyday maths Contacted Asian Community Concern to offer to teach everyday maths Corresponded with Deafplus.org about delivering maths classes, where the cost of providing a BSL assistant would be potentially funded by Freshwater Foundation. Contacted West Ealing Library to offer to provide help with maths
The company’s stakeholders are primarily local residents of Ealing or Hounslow who want help to improve their maths skills. Feedback on help provided or offered by the director includes: “Good morning Permjit. Thank you for informing me of taking a break from the Foodbank. I hope all is well and thank you for your hard work and support during your volunteering time with us and please feel free to stay in contact. I will continue to ask members of our community regarding the Mathematics project and feed back the response we receive. Kind regards,“
