Principal activities of the company

Inbtwin CIC’s main activities in the financial period were the provision of technology, digital support, project management, community development, educational support, website support, administrative assistance, and consultancy services. These types of activities supported community organisations, charities, small projects, individuals and early-stage social enterprises requiring practical digital and organisational support. Its services have been linked to project planning, digital design, online platforms, training or tutorial support, community service delivery and website development. The income was primarily generated from project, consultancy, education, digital service and website support activities, and funds had been used to meet delivery, logistics, accounting, website, administrative and operating costs. These activities were executed to serve the company’s community interest objectives involving the facilitation of community-facing organisations and individuals in enhancing digital access, organisational capacity, online visibility and in delivering projects.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Financial Reporting Standard 101

    Turnover policy

    Income is recognised when it is received into the Inbtwin CIC bank account. The company’s turnover mainly relates to project, consultancy, education, digital service and website support activities. Income is recorded on a receipts basis from the bank transactions supplied for the accounting period.

    Other accounting policies

    The accounts were prepared from the company’s supplied bank statements and transaction information for the period from incorporation to 31 August 2025. Expenditure is recognised when paid from the company bank account. Expenditure categories have been grouped for accounts presentation, while detailed records are retained internally. No accruals, unpaid invoices, stock, loans, fixed asset register or corporation tax liability were notified.

Company activities and impact

Inbtwin CIC has undertaken actions during the financial year to support individuals, community groups, small organisations, charities and social enterprises in building their digital, organisational and community capacity. The company runs via Inbtwin.com, offering hands-on instruction in digital literacy, website design, charity and CIC development, branding, project development, grant readiness, community education and how to access online tools. We empower marginalized people or grassroots organisations to be more confident, visible and sustainable. The company's endeavors have supported local people in the following ways: * Grassroots-based organisations and community groups have been helped to build web services, elevate their public reputation, prepare documents for governance and present themselves professionally to funders, partners and beneficiaries. * Practical support to those with low digital confidence for using online systems, producing digital content, enhancing communication, and understanding how digital can help personal, educational and business development for individuals has also been given. * New charities, CICs and community-led efforts have been supported with project planning, charitable purpose formulation, raising awareness for safeguarding, developing and applying for funding. That’s helped local groups migrate from ideas in the informal realm to more formal community projects. * There’s significant support for adults and young people from underrepresented backgrounds in terms of education and careers, including access to information, mentors’ coaching, online learning and digital development skills. * Small businesses and social entrepreneurs have benefited from branding, website development, online presence and digital product development. This has enabled them to develop confidence in selling their services and to reach a wider audience. * Community programmes in education, poverty reduction, youth development, heritage, wellbeing and enterprise have been strengthened by planned support and document prep, and digital presentation. This has facilitated for a project to communicate its “why” and demonstrate that its purpose is good for the public, as well as to involve stakeholders. * Local and diaspora communities have derived social and cultural value from culturally centred digital and educational work such as heritage, storytelling, creative media and community identity initiatives. On the whole, Inbtwin CIC has made a contribution to the narrowing of the digital divide, the consolidation of community-driven organisations and increased access to applied knowledge. It’s helped people and groups which could be too financially restricted to support professional digital, governance or project development services. The results of the company's work manifest as increased confidence, better community projects, online presence, governance document clarity and funding readiness and service delivery.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders of the company are individuals, small businesses, community groups, charity founders, CIC founders, volunteers, service users and partners who use or benefit from Inbtwin CIC’s digital and organisational support. During its financial year, Inbtwin CIC worked with relevant stakeholders in person, communication through emails, telephone calls and project meetings and feedback received through Inbtwin.com. “That we wanted affordable help with websites, digital visibility, charity or CIC set-up, policies, project planning, branding and funding preparation,” Stakeholders said. In answer, Inbtwin CIC offered practical support in plain language; assisted groups to improve their online presence; prepared key materials; and helped community organisations to become more orderly, self-assured and prepared for services.
