In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd for the year ended 30 April 2026 which comprise the statement of financial position and related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.

As a practising member firm of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at http://www.icaew.com /en/members/regulations-standards-and-guidance/.

This report is made solely to the board of directors of Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement letter. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the board of directors of Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd as a body, in this report in accordance with ICAEW Technical Release 07/16 AAF. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd and its board of directors as a body for our work or for this report.

It is your duty to ensure that Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd has kept adequate accounting records and to prepare statutory financial statements that give a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit of Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd. You consider that Ardal Leagues Southern Ltd is exempt from the statutory audit requirement for the year.

For the year ending 30 April 2026 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Directors responsibilities:

- The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476;

- The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with Section 1A of FRS 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland'.

In accordance with section 444 of the Companies Act 2006, the statement of comprehensive income has not been delivered.

Notes to the financial statements

Year ended 30 April 2026

1. General information

The company is a private company limited by guarantee, registered in Wales. The address of the registered office is Vale Pavilion, Hensol, Pontyclun, CF72 8JY.

2. Statement of compliance

These financial statements have been prepared in compliance with the provisions of FRS 102, Section 1A, 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland'.

3. Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The financial statements have been prepared on the historical cost basis, as modified by the revaluation of certain financial assets and liabilities and investment properties measured at fair value through profit or loss.

The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the entity.

Turnover

Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for goods supplied and services rendered, net of discounts and Value Added Tax.

Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership have transferred to the buyer (usually on despatch of the goods); the amount of revenue can be measured reliably; it is probable that the associated economic benefits will flow to the entity; and the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transactions can be measured reliably.

Taxation

The company is exempt from corporation tax, it being a company not carrying on a business for the purposes of making a profit.

4. Limited by guarantee

The company has no issued share capital and is limited by guarantee.

5. Employee numbers

The average number of persons employed by the company during the year amounted to 4 (2025: 4 ).
