Company activities and impact

Established in August 2021, Together We Ride CIC continues to champion diversity and inclusion by encouraging people from all backgrounds to participate in group cycling events. Our mission is realised through a holistic approach focused on four key areas. Reducing Isolation We foster a welcoming and supportive community, bringing together individuals from every walk of life. Our group rides provide a space for meaningful connections, helping to combat loneliness and build lasting friendships. Advocating for Health We promote the many physical benefits of regular cycling, including improved cardiovascular health, increased muscle strength, greater flexibility, and enhanced joint mobility. Our activities support healthy weight management and help reduce the risk of chronic conditions such as obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Nurturing Skills Our cycling programmes are designed to be both enjoyable and developmental. Participants enhance their physical fitness while also gaining practical skills and confidence through regular group rides and workshops. Enhancing Mental Wellness Cycling outdoors has proven psychological benefits, helping to alleviate stress,anxiety, and depression. The camaraderie and sense of achievement gained from our rides further promote emotional wellbeing and social cohesion. Achievements for the Year Ending 31 August 2024 During the financial year ending 31 August 2024, Together We Ride CIC expanded its impact across Greater London. We consistently hosted local rides three times a week, engaging participants from 32 London boroughs.
