During the financial year to 30th September 2025, it delivered a range of community-centered activities including: Barista Training Workshops for young people, especially NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) individuals, to equip them with employable skills in hospitality and customer service. Partnerships with local producers to promote ethical supply chains and sustainability awareness. Free mentoring and entrepreneurship advice provided to aspiring young creative and small business owners within the community. Doing Good Through Coffee Snobs CIC has served as a safe, inclusive, and inviting hub, reducing social isolation and giving people a reason to engage meaningfully in their local area.
Stakeholders include: Local youth and residents Local councils and community organisations Independent suppliers and ethical suppliers Local schools and colleges Volunteers and workshop participants Housing Association Consultation Methods: Feedback forms at events and pop-ups Informal focus groups with young people and stakeholders 1:1 community conversations during barista training sessions Actions Taken in Response: Offered additional skills for barista training in response to participant requests Partnered with additional local suppliers to align with community’s interest in ethical sourcing Modified workshop formats based on feedback to be more practical digital based Added wellness themes to events to support community mental health
