Company activities and impact

This has been our first year of frontline delivery and we have been honoured to work with 47 young people for Targeted Youth Work and 25 for Trauma Therapy We have worked with the young people in various settings – private therapy space, secondary schools, local community spaces which also included intergenerational work. We supported local small businesses for our group activities. Our referral routes we have recorded include - word-of mouth self-referrals from young people and families, other community professionals, young people and families, secondary schools, other community professionals and our Local Neighbourhood Policing Team. From January 2025, We Believe 2 CIC were able to demonstrate, and evidence need and positive changes made through our support, we were successful in securing funding through the National Lottery Community Fund. This enabled us to provide another year of funding to continue supporting young people at risk of entering or within the Criminal Justice System. Our referral partners have feedback they are delighted with the positive outcomes achieved by the young people we are supporting. Many have engaged having not previously and this includes We Believe 2, education, training, employment. Feedback has included observations of increased well-being, emotional regulation, healthier choices and coping strategies improved relationships with others and their communities. Young people and their families have given positive feedback that We Believe 2 has made a difference to their lives and their communities.

Directors' remuneration

Whilst all directors performed their directorship duties voluntarily, three directors received pay during this time period in order to deliver our services. All this pay relates to funded activities. The gross pay received by our directors was as follows: D Froggat - £3,130 L Briggs - £4,220
