Oranges for Sharing CIC was incorporated in August 2024. During the financial year 2025-2026 the companies activities have benefited the community in the following ways: The company has been in large planning stages but has ran varied workshops in Primary Schools and a Secondary School with low art provisions in place. In addition they have been creating a Summer Show with an accompanying workshop to bring art into communities throughout the Summer holidays whilst providing local families with affordable childcare options. This will be taking place in summer 2026. Primary School 1 - World Book Day Workshop: Physicalising children's stories to improve imagination skills and team work to create their own 'made up stories'. Primary School 2 - A Drama Workshop surrounding the Victorian Era. Using prior knowledge to create their own devised piece about Victorian characters and themes. Secondary School - Drama and Music Workshop. Assisting children with their future choices regarding their options into KS4 and beyond. Facilitating conversations around what these subjects can help with in other sectors / jobs in the future. Summer 2026 - A Sandless Tale and Accompanying Workshop for children throughout the Summer holidays. 90-minutes of games and crafts followed by a 30-minute interactive show keeping children's imaginations alive throughout the summer whilst providing childcare for working parents.
