General description of the company’s activities During the financial year, the company operated as a company limited by guarantee with a single director and focused on delivering community benefit through direct financial support to initiatives aligned with its social objectives. The CIC primarily supported organisations and initiatives aimed at improving opportunities, inclusion, and wellbeing for children and young people, particularly those facing disadvantage or barriers to participation. In addition, the company organised a community football league as a fundraising activity. Funds raised through this initiative were donated to a Virtual School supporting looked-after children, in the form of Amazon gift cards. These were used to incentivise and improve school attendance and engagement among the young people supported by the programme. 2. Benefit provided to the community During the year, the company provided direct financial support to community-focused initiatives and delivered fundraising activities with clear social impact. £1,900 was donated in the form of Amazon gift cards to a Virtual School supporting looked-after children. These funds, raised in part through the organisation of a community football league, were used to incentivise and improve school attendance and engagement among young people in care. £300 was donated to Adamant FC, a community football club that promotes inclusion by allowing children to participate regardless of their ability to pay. In addition to financial contributions, the organisation of the football league created opportunities for community engagement, participation, and social inclusion, bringing together individuals and supporting a shared social purpose. These activities contributed to improving educational engagement, reducing social exclusion, and increasing access to sport and opportunities for children and young people facing financial or social barriers.
