| 3. | BACKGROUND |
| Youravatar.AI Ltd (previously LifeLegacy App Ltd) is a company specialising in AI for eldercare, developing a conversational avatar to mitigate feelings of loneliness and isolation on the part of residents of care homes. This involves intense R&D in order to automate the process by which the relatives, close friends and carers of care home residents can, in minutes and at low cost, make an interactive digital twin of themselves. The intention of the company is to make a claim for an R&D credit to offset a proportion of the development expenditure. |
| The research and development expenditure in the financial year totalled £143,204, and is represented within the total work-in-progress figure of £302,622. |
