PART 1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT Claire Evans, company Director, secured an opportunity for sponsorship to 30 local businesses to fund free books for local charities and not-for-profits. October 2024 – an audiobook project was run in Leicester College with the creative art and media students as part as their work experience. Images were inspired by the project music single: ‘Notes of Thanks’ promoting gratitude. 2 images were selected for the cover artwork and published in the national Yellow Book. A college-wide download of the resource was made available to all staff and students, approximately 27,000 users. October/November 2024 - Peterborough College music students devised compositions inspired by the lyrics of the project music single: ‘Notes of Thanks’. Previously, a student had recorded vocals on said single. In addition, the selected compositions were invited into a professional recording studio to record their songs to be featured on the college audiobook. Visual Arts students also worked to create the front cover artwork for the college audiobook. This resource was also made available college-wide, approximately 9,000 users. November 2024 – an audiobook project was run with pupils of Desford Community Primary School inspired by Peter Hirst, Project Manager and Phil Seaman, Project Band Member delivering a workshop around gratitude and the power of creativity. From that poems were written around #notesofthanks and a number of selected entrants were featured on the audiobook as spoken word. This resource was also made available for free to all staff, pupils and parents. Some of the selected entries were also then featured in the national Yellow Book. The 5th edition of the national Yellow Book was published in May 2025. The 3rd edition of The Cygnet Yellow Book was published December 2024 and 2000 hard copies were printed and disseminated across their services. The flipbook version of this Yellow Book is made available to view from their website. The 4th edition University of Nottingham Yellow Book opened for entries September 2025. Evaluation We invite interaction via social media reviews or email feedback for the national Yellow Book with a printed invitation on the inside cover of the printed copy. The public sector organisations we partner with use their own evaluation in-house. We ask them to keep us posted of their feedback which is mostly qualitative and not easily measurable. The printed Yellow Books are handed directly to students and used as required but the wellbeing practices are used across Desford Community Primary School as a valued toolkit within the school day. Additionally, the printed Yellow Books are left in public areas across Cygnet Healthcare services and regularly run out. The feedback from staff has been very positive and some of their comments are printed in the Books.
