| The company holds a high-value race-specification showcar solely for long-term capital appreciation. Although FRS 102 defines investment property as land or buildings, the directors consider the nature of this asset to be consistent with that definition in substance. |
| The showcar is not used operationally, is not intended for sale, and is revalued annually by an independent valuer. It is held at fair value, with changes recognised in the profit or loss in line with the treatment of investment property under FRS 102. |
