| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and estimation techniques, and on a going concern basis. |
| The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £. |
| These financial statements are prepared on the going concern basis. The directors have expectation that the group will continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. The company has generated a loss of £1,402,331 (2024: loss of £1,165,845) and has net current assets of £2,291,423 (2024: net current asset of £3,903,107) at the year end. |
| The directors have had regard to the financial forecasts, which indicates the company is expected to return to profitability in the forthcoming financial year. Post year-end trading results shows the company is meeting its revenue forecasts and the losses recorded have significantly declined. Also, the company has adequate cash reserves to meet its liabilities as they fall due. Accordingly, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for at least twelve months from the date of approval of these financial statements and the foreseeable future. The directors therefore continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. |

| Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, VAT and other sales taxes. |
| Turnover includes amounts receivable on contracts and payments on account in accordance with the terms of the individual contracts on a receivable basis. |
| Intangible assets |
| Intangible assets are initially measured at cost. After initial recognition, intangible assets are measured at cost less any accumulated amortisation and any accumulated impairment losses. |

| Stocks |
| Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the statement of financial position date. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the statement of financial position date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Research and development |
| Expenditure on research and development is written off in the year in which it is incurred. |
| Foreign currencies |
| Assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the statement of financial position date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating result. |
| Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
| Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease. |
| Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
| The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |
| Grant income |
| Grant income is recognised on a receipts basis upon compliance with the conditions of the grant application. |
