We deliver a range of workshops, online and in-person in community settings to meet the varying needs of the community. Through engagement with beneficiaries we seek to meet their needs in delivering projects and workshops such as: Cookery classes Mental Health Awareness courses, training & seminars Wellbeing sessions & workshops Tutorial classes Health presentations, seminars & workshops Events/social networking activities Partnerships and collaborations Creative Art (Drama) Musical Therapy Provide online and live events that will teach customers how to make their own natural products for hair, face and body As a result of engaging with Cherry Tree Learning CIC, beneficiaries are presented with and supported to explore and try alternative and creative ways of achieving healthy eating. This improves their health and wellbeing, reduces cost and food waste and in the long term, leading to improved long-term health and reduction in preventative health issues such as diabetes, coronary heart disease and high blood pressure which are prevalent in the BME community. Our services help beneficiaries to recognise the symptoms of mental health by identifying potential triggers and areas of potential conflict within relationships in the home and in the community and through partnership with a range of other providers, we are able to signpost to appropriate health and social services. Additionally, our services help to promote, educate and encourage more people to invest in making or buying naturally made products using 100% natural ingredients instead of using the chemically infused products that are damaging to us and affect climate change in a negative and toxic way. This can also provide people with long term skills which can be integrated into a business, for which they will be assisted with setup advice to ensure their success. Our services have resulted in an increased: Understanding how to maintain a positive and healthy outlook to improve on good health. Provision of Supplementary education for children (out of school), young people and adults online. Access to general advice and support on a range of health and social issues that are prevalent in the BME community. Improved relationships and collaboration opportunities with community partners in local and regional areas to provide creative art sessions for children, young people and adults. Access to music in the community as a form of complementary activities to children, young people and adults. Regular online and live events that teach customers how to make their own natural products for hair, face and body that can be shared with family, friends and neighbours in the community
