During the financial year, Fivepak Cic has been actively benefiting the community through its core activities. People have been donating goods to the organisation which are then reused and made available to the public at very low prices, helping make everyday items affordable for people who might otherwise struggle to buy them. In some cases, goods have also been given away for free to individuals and families in urgent need. This has also helped reduce waste by keeping usable items in circulation rather than going to landfill, while supporting people locally with low cost or free essentials. On top of this, Fivepak CIC has also made cash donations to charities and individuals in need, providing additional support to those facing hardship. Although the company made a loss in its first year due to rental costs like and low turnover, this is expected for an early stage operation. The overall activity during the year has still delivered clear community benefit and laid the groundwork for stronger impact in the future.
