During the financial year 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, The F-List for Music CIC continued to support and elevate women and gender-diverse musicians across the UK through increased visibility, advocacy, and community engagement. Key activities included: Presidency: Miranda Cooper served as our fifth President throughout the year and delivered a well-attended Masterclass at ICMP in September 2025. Youth Industry Network: In partnership with Youth Music, we delivered the Youth Industry Network programme across Croydon, Wolverhampton and Darlington, and were invited to join the new national Youth Music Industry Connect Coalition, supported by Festival Republic. Research & Advocacy: We hosted our fourth F-List Music Research Conference, numerous online Research Hours, presented papers at the Fifth International Conference on Women’s Work in Music at Trinity Laban, and continued our public advocacy work. We were shortlisted for the UN Women UK Awards “Outstanding Contributor to Gender Equality.” New Partnerships: We ran our first Sapphic Voices project with Out & Wild festival, supporting six selected artists through mentoring and festival performances. We also delivered a Field Recording event in Falmouth with support from Falmouth Town Council. Platform Growth: Our directory grew to 6.4K entries with over 55K unique website visitors this year and more than 200K since launch. Outreach: Our monthly newsletter reached 2K subscribers. Social media following stood at 9.5K across various platforms. Governance: We welcomed a new director, Hannah Horton, and launched an open call for new Board Directors to mark our fifth anniversary. These activities furthered our mission to challenge inequality in music and create professional opportunities for underrepresented artists across the UK. Through advocacy, partnerships, and platform growth, The F-List continues to deliver meaningful impact for our community.
We held three formal board meetings of the directors in this financial year.
Mimi Harmer, Esther Bokuma and Vick Bain received payment for various F-List activities and operational costs totalling £5,100. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for directors’ loss of office, which require disclosure.
