COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

POLISH SUPPORT INITIATIVE CIC

Company Number: 15613280 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2026

Company activities and impact

During the financial year ended 31 March 2026, Polish Support Initiative CIC significantly expanded its services to improve health, wellbeing and social inclusion for residents across Boston, Lincolnshire. A key achievement was the opening of the WeConnect Community Hub, providing a welcoming and accessible space where local people could receive free advice, practical support and community services. During the year, we supported over 1,190 residents through multilingual advice, translation, digital inclusion, employment and housing support, and assistance in accessing public and healthcare services. Working closely with NHS partners and other local organisations, we delivered regular NHS Coffee Mornings, digital healthcare sessions, health checks, cancer support and wellbeing activities. We also established support groups for women and parents of children with additional needs, helping to reduce isolation and improve mental wellbeing. In addition, we organised community events, educational workshops and volunteering opportunities that brought together people from different backgrounds and strengthened community cohesion. Our work has improved access to essential services, increased digital confidence, reduced social isolation and empowered people to become more independent. Feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, demonstrating the lasting impact of our community-led approach.
