Notes to the financial statements

1. Employee numbers

The average number of persons employed by the company during the year amounted to 4 (2024: 4 ).

2. Directors' advances, credits and guarantees

The company operated a directors loan account throughout the current and previous year. Interest is charged at the official HM Revenue & Customs rate on any overdrawn balances in excess of £10,000. There were no specific repayment terms.

3. Prior year adjustment

During the year, the directors identified an error in the accounting treatment of a hire purchase contract for which the company has a financial obligation. The comparative figures have been restated to correct this error.

The correction has resulted in an increase in current assets of £6,721, a decrease in creditors due within one year of £467, and an increase in creditors due after more than one year of £7,188 at the prior year-end date.

The adjustment relates solely to the presentation and recognition of assets and liabilities arising under the hire purchase agreement and has had no impact on the profit or loss account, retained earnings, or the corporation tax charge for the period.

For the year ending 31 August 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Directors' responsibilities:

- The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476 ;

- The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements .

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
