| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Revenue |
| Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
| Revenue is recognised to the extent that it is probable that economic benefits will flow to the company and the revenue can be reliably measured. Revenue is measured as the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. The following criteria must also be met before revenue is recognised: |
| Sale of goods |
| Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when all of the following conditions are satisfied: |
| - the company has transferred the significant risks and rewards of ownership to the buyer; |
| - the company retains neither continuing managerial involvement to the degree usually associated with ownership nor effective control over the goods sold; |
| - the amount of revenue can be measured reliably |
| - it is probable that the company will receive the consideration due under the transaction; and |
| - the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transaction can be measured reliably. |
| Services |
| Revenue for services is recognised in the period in which the services are provided in accordance with the stage of completion of the service when all of the following conditions are satisfied: |
| - the amount of revenue can be measured reliably; |
| - it is probable that the company will receive consideration due under the service terms; |
| - the stage of completion of the service at the end of the reporting period can be measured reliably; and |
| - the costs incurred and the costs to complete the service can be measured reliably. |

| Intangible assets are initially measured at cost. After initial recognition, intangible assets are measured at cost less any accumulated amortisation and any accumulated impairment losses. |

| Stocks are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |
| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the period end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
| Hire purchase and leasing commitments |
| Assets obtained under hire purchase contracts or finance leases are capitalised in the balance sheet. Those held under hire purchase contracts are depreciated over their estimated useful lives. Those held under finance leases are depreciated over their estimated useful lives or the lease term, whichever is the shorter. |
| The interest element of these obligations is charged to profit and loss over the relevant period. The capital element of future payments is treated as a liability. |
| Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease. |
| Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits |
| The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate. |

| During the previous year funds were loaned to Beyond Dental Limited and at the year end the company still owed £nil (2024: £20,000). No interest is being charged on the loan and no set repayment terms have been placed on it. |

| 11. | POST BALANCE SHEET EVENTS |
| Subsequent to the balance sheet date and prior to the approval of these financial statements, the Company's trade, assets and liabilities relating to its trading activities were transferred to its parent company as part of a group reorganisation. Following the transfer, the Company ceased trading and no longer undertakes trading activities in its own right. |
| The transfer occurred after the reporting date and therefore has not been reflected in the amounts recognised in these financial statements. The event is considered to be a non-adjusting event after the reporting period. |
| 12. | ULTIMATE CONTROLLING PARTY |
| The controlling party is Envisage Dental UK Limited. |
| 13. | GOING CONCERN |
| The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. |
| Following the balance sheet date, the Company's trade was transferred to its parent company and the Company ceased trading. The directors have assessed the Company's future position and are satisfied that the Company will be able to meet its liabilities as they fall due through the financial support of its parent undertaking. Accordingly, the directors consider it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis. |
| The directors do not intend to place the Company into liquidation or otherwise cease its existence as a legal entity. |
