During the year, Mojo Community Events CIC continued to deliver its core initiative, Christmas for All, providing Christmas gifts to children in the local community who might otherwise go without. The company ran a community Christmas event in Burnside, Bedlington, with Santa visiting the area and handing out gift bags to local children. This was funded by donations raised within the community, and where funds exceeded the cost of gifts, the surplus was returned to the community group that had provided it. The company also worked with Bedlington Academy, receiving donations collected by parents which were used to buy Christmas gifts for children. All income was applied to delivering these activities for community benefit, with volunteers supporting the planning and delivery. No director received any remuneration.
No consultation with stakeholders
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
