NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
FOR THE PERIOD 4 OCTOBER 2024 TO 31 MARCH 2026
| 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
ILA Investments Limited is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales. The address of its registered office is Blounts Farm, Blounts Court Road, Sonning Common, Reading, RG4 9PA.
The principal activity of the company is residential property management and lettings.
The financial statements are presented in Pound Sterling (£), which is also the functional currency of
the company.
| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements
Going concern
The company has made a profit during the period and has a positive cash position at the period end. At the time of signing these accounts, the directors have prepared forecasts based on future trading expectations. The directors consider that these forecasts indicate that the company will continue to trade for a period of at least twelve months from the date of signing the accounts. On that basis, the directors have prepared these financial statements on a going concern basis.
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
Revenue from property rental income and related service charge income is recognised as it becomes receivable under tenancy agreements.
Investment property
Investment property has been included in the accounts at market value. This is considered on an annual basis by the directors. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in fair value is recognised in profit or loss.
Financial instruments
The company only enters into basic financial instruments transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities, such as trade and other debtors and creditors and loans with related parties.
All financial assets and liabilities are initially measured at transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised cost.
For financial assets measured at cost less impairment, the impairment loss is measured as the difference between an asset's carrying amount and best estimate of the recoverable amount, which is an approximation of the amount that the company would receive for the asset if it were to be sold at the balance sheet date.

| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES - continued |
Cash
Cash is represented by cash in hand and deposits with financial institutions repayable without penalty on notice of not more than 24 hours.
Provisions
Provisions are recognised when the company has a present obligation (legal or constructive) as a result of a past event, it is probable that the company will be required to settle the obligation, and a reliable estimate can be made of the obligation.
The amount recognised as a provision is the best estimate of the consideration required to settle the present obligation at the end of the reporting period, taking into account the risks and uncertainties surrounding the obligation.
Dividends
Equity dividends are recognised when they become legally payable.
Taxation
Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Profit and Loss Account, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the period end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.
| 3. | EMPLOYEES AND DIRECTORS |
The average number of employees during the period was NIL.
