NHCC Sports & Social CIC was incorporated on 13th June 2016 as the trading subsidiary of Newcastle & Hartshill Cricket Club CIO, registered charity no- 1165867, but lay dormant until new financial year on 1st October 2016. It’s purpose is to trade by the provision of cricket facilities and a registered licensed premises for sale of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages for the members of Newcastle & Hartshill Cricket Club (parent CIO) and their guests and the hiring of or use of the facilities by the wider community. The generation of any surplus income from the above trading activity will assist in financing the running of the parent CIO, Newcastle & Hartshill Cricket Club, which operates for the benefit of the public and community by promoting community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of inhabitants of Newcastle-under-Lyme and Hartshill by the provision of facilities for playing cricket
The company’s sole stakeholder is the parent CIO, Newcastle & Hartshill Cricket Club, which is a member’s club run by a board of trustee’s who are members which are elected at Annual General Meeting. All members are invited to be present at the AGM and are encouraged to give their opinion and feedback on the running of the club at AGM. Members are also encouraged to communicate with the club secretary for any issues regarding the club for consideration at trustee/director’s regular meeting’s. Frequent communication is provided to members by E mail, social media or club noticeboard.
No remuneration was received
Donation of £14,917 made to parent CIO, Newcastle & Hartshill Cricket Club, registered charity No – 1165867. No transfer of assets other than for full consideration has been made.
