Principal activities of the company

Wide Eyes Falconry CIC is a Community Interest Company established to educate, inspire and engage people of all ages through birds of prey, animal encounters and outdoor learning experiences. The company aims to promote wellbeing, inclusion, conservation awareness and community participation by providing accessible educational activities, sensory experiences and community events. Review of Activities During the year, the company continued to expand its range of community-based activities, including: * Educational falconry demonstrations and workshops. * Animal handling and interactive learning sessions. * Sensory play sessions designed for young children and families. * Community open days and fundraising events. * Partnerships with schools, community groups and local organisations. * Outreach work to promote wildlife conservation and environmental education. The directors are pleased with the progress made during the year and the positive feedback received from participants, volunteers and partner organisations.Community Benefit As a Community Interest Company, Wide Eyes Falconry CIC exists primarily for the benefit of the community. Throughout the year the company has worked to: * Improve access to educational experiences involving birds of prey and other animals. * Support children and adults with additional needs through inclusive activities. * Encourage confidence, learning and social interaction. * Promote respect for wildlife and conservation. * Provide affordable family events that strengthen community engagement. Any surplus generated by the company is reinvested into improving facilities, animal welfare, equipment and expanding community programmes. The directors will continue to seek additional funding opportunities, grants and partnerships to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organisation.

Company activities and impact

The company offers a children's club for 5-19 year olds. We teach children all aspect of falconry but our main goal is to build confidence and give children the opportunity to thrive outside of normal activities. We also offer this to school groups and home education groups and even run a mens mental health group.
