During the financial period of October 2024 to 30 September 2025, Fabric of the Community’s activities benefited the community in the following ways: * Approximately 100 children and young people from the local area have been provided with regular opportunities to participate in sport, physical activity, and positive social engagement through our weekly Saturday football provision and Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programmes. * Children and families who may otherwise face financial, social, or practical barriers to accessing organised activities have been able to attend free or low-cost sports and recreational sessions within their local community. * More than 75 children have received free healthy meals as part of our HAF provision, helping to address food insecurity during school holiday periods while promoting healthy eating and wellbeing. * The organisation successfully delivered three HAF programmes, including one week during the winter holidays, one week during the Easter holidays, and four weeks during the summer holidays, providing safe, structured, and enriching activities for local children. * Participants have benefited from opportunities to improve their physical health, confidence, teamwork, communication skills, and social connections through engagement in sport and recreational activities. * The organisation has created paid part-time employment opportunities for over 10 local individuals, supporting workforce development and providing valuable experience within the community sector. * Five volunteers have been supported through work experience placements, enabling them to develop transferable skills, gain practical experience, and improve their future employment prospects. * The organisation has strengthened community cohesion by bringing together children, young people, families, volunteers, and staff from diverse backgrounds through inclusive and accessible community-based activities. * Through partnerships with local venues, activity providers, and community organisations, Fabric of the Community has increased access to positive opportunities for children and young people within the local area. * The organisation has continued to promote social inclusion, wellbeing, and community engagement by creating safe spaces where children and young people can develop friendships, build resilience, and engage in positive activities outside of school hours.
