Horizon Refugee CIC (Co. No. 15904126), incorporated 19 August 2024, provides support services to asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and vulnerable families across London. During the reporting period, the company organised one community event in the London Borough of Southwark, delivered in partnership with Southwark Council via Active Communities, providing direct benefit to asylum seekers and their families through information, guidance and community activities. On an individual basis, the company provided casework guidance to service users on asylum process matters including Home Office interview preparation, asylum support under Sections 95, 98 and 4, NHS/GP registration, HC2 certificates, Universal Credit, housing and family reunification. In August 2025, the company received income of £777 designated for a community event planned for September 2025, outside the reporting period. Services are delivered free of charge to beneficiaries regardless of nationality or immigration status, satisfying the CIC community interest test.
The company's principal stakeholders are: (i) service users - asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and their dependants; and (ii) Southwark Council, which provided support for the company's community event during the reporting period. No other organisation made a formal commitment or provided structured feedback during this period. Stakeholder engagement is conducted through direct contact with service users at programme delivery points. The company acknowledges that its stakeholder consultation processes are at an early stage of development, commensurate with its status as a newly incorporated entity in its first year of operation. No formal social audit report is attached.
