Theatr Prysor applied for and successfully received grants from Conwy County Council, Llanfairfechan Town Council and the Carneddau Landscape Partnership during the financial year. These grants supported the delivery of creative workshops and activities for a variety of community groups. The projects focused on inclusion, wellbeing, learning new creative skills, exploring local heritage, and creating shared experiences within the community. The groups we worked with included family groups, youth and adult groups, Special Needs groups, Youth Dens Abergele, Academi Berfformio Glannau Conwy, and STAND North Wales. Feedback from participants and partners has been very positive, particularly in relation to the value of the creative content and the supportive, safe environment provided by the workshops. The activities helped promote community connection, confidence, wellbeing and a sense of shared local identity.
Yes. The company’s stakeholders include workshop participants, families, youth and adult community groups, Special Needs groups, local partner organisations, funders, and the wider local community benefiting from the projects. Stakeholders have been consulted through direct engagement during workshops and activities, conversations with participants and partner organisations, and feedback received following the sessions. Feedback has been positive and has helped confirm the value of the creative activities, the supportive environment provided, and the benefit of delivering inclusive, community-based projects focused on wellbeing, creativity, local heritage and shared experience.
During the year, directors’ remuneration of £1500 was paid to Manon Williams. The remuneration related to work carried out for the company, including the delivery and administration of community workshops, project planning, liaison with partner organisations and funders, and other activities necessary to deliver the company’s community benefit objectives. The remuneration was considered reasonable in relation to the work undertaken and the activities delivered during the financial year.
