We have provided opportunities for the local community to work with locally run film productions, whilst also gaining valuable film making and acting experience and the opportunity to develop skills in acting and film making. We also continued to run quarterly events in Chichester for aspiring and professional actors and film makers to meet, collaborate, develop film projects and develop skills. Our events are attended by between 120 and 160 people from the community, and we have supported the development and making of 6 small zero-budget film projects during this year. There is demand for us to do more and we would like to do more but would require financial assistance.
Our stakeholders are largely members of the local community from Chichester, but also from across West Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset, all with an interest in learning or developing their film making or screen acting skills. During our quarterly events we always provide opportunity for the audience to ask questions and to discuss how we can better server the community. Offline surveys are also available for which we receive valuable anonymous feedback and suggestions. More often than not the community are eager to know how they can get actively involved with film projects, how film projects can be funded, where to go for formal skills training, and to learn more about the process of creating a film production with limited resources. We encourage all members to try and attend our events, and to participate in activities via our social media platforms and our website.
