COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

INSPIREGEN CIC

Company Number: 16444534 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 May 2026

Company activities and impact

InspireGen CIC was incorporated on 12 May 2025 to benefit the community of Leicester and the surrounding areas, and other communities nationwide, by empowering people from marginalised backgrounds and areas of social deprivation through access to education, training, mentoring, and health and wellbeing activities. During its first period the company's principal activity was the delivery of educational support, mentoring and volunteering opportunities for young people and families who would not otherwise have access to such provision. A significant focus of the period was the delivery of Rising Futures Leicester, a youth project supported by a grant of £20,000. Through this project the company funded tutoring and educational support. The project continues into the period to December 2026, and the company is delivering against the funded activity in stages. To strengthen the quality of its provision, the company invested in training for those delivering its work. It also worked in partnership with Raedan Institute to extend the reach of its educational activities, including the delivery of a specific community project, and engaged volunteers throughout. The directors are satisfied that the company's activities during the period were carried out wholly for the benefit of the community in accordance with its objects.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's beneficiaries, their families and partner organisations are its principal stakeholders. During the period the directors engaged with stakeholders through the delivery of its educational and mentoring activities, through direct contact with participants and families, and through its working relationship with partner organisations including Raedan Institute. Feedback gathered through these interactions informs the planning and improvement of the company's provision. The directors intend to develop more formal mechanisms for stakeholder consultation as the company grows.
