During the financial period from 16 August 2024 to 31 August 2025, the company continued to operate for the benefit of the local community by supporting educational, cultural and social activities. The company’s main activity was the running and support of a Saturday school, which provided children and young people with a safe and structured environment for learning, community engagement and personal development. The company used its funds to hire suitable halls and spaces so that the school and related community activities could take place. The company also organised and supported social and community events during the year. These events helped bring families and members of the community together, reduced isolation, encouraged positive relationships, and promoted community cohesion. The company’s income was mainly generated from members’ subscriptions and community contributions. These funds were applied towards hall hire, Saturday school activities, social events and general running costs. Any surplus was retained within the company to support future community activities and was not distributed for private benefit. Overall, the company’s activities benefited the community by providing accessible educational and social opportunities, supporting children and families, and strengthening links between members of the local community.
During the financial period from 16 August 2024 to 31 August 2025, the company consulted with its stakeholders mainly through informal discussions and regular contact with members, parents, volunteers, tutors and community participants. Feedback was gathered during Saturday school sessions, community gatherings and social events. Parents and members were able to raise issues and make suggestions about the timing, location and organisation of activities, including the need for suitable hall hire, accessible community spaces and activities that support children and families. The directors considered this feedback when planning the company’s activities and deciding how funds should be used during the year. As a result, the company continued to prioritise hall hire for the Saturday school, educational/community activities, and social events that bring families and members of the community together. The company intends to continue engaging with stakeholders in future years and to improve its record keeping of feedback, meetings and decisions.
