The directors consider that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006.

The members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - small entities.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the statement of comprehensive income in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

General information

Tallington Lakes Restaurant & Bar Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales, United Kingdom.  The address of the registered office is Barholm Rd, Tallington, Stamford PE9 4RJ. 

The nature of the Company's operations and principal activities continued to be the provision of public house and bar services.

2.Accounting policies

 
2.1

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the requirements and the Companies Act 2006 and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice 'Accounting by Limited Liabilities Partnerships'. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 requires the use of certain critical accounting estimates. It also requires management to exercise judgement in applying the Company's accounting policies.

The following principal accounting policies have been applied:

 
2.2

Going concern

The directors have confirmed their financial support will be provided for the foreseeable future as and when required for the business. On this basis, the directors consider it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.

  
2.3

Turnover

Turnover comprises revenue recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied during the year, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

 
2.4

Finance costs

Finance costs are charged to profit or loss over the term of the debt using the effective interest method so that the amount charged is at a constant rate on the carrying amount. Issue costs are initially recognised as a reduction in the proceeds of the associated capital instrument.

 
2.5

Borrowing costs

All borrowing costs are recognised in profit or loss in the year in which they are incurred.

 
2.6

Debtors

Short-term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. Loans receivable are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment.

Creditors

Related party transactions

The company has taken advantage of the exemption available under FRS 102 section 33.1A where disclosures of transactions between group members are not required, provided that the subsidiary is wholly owned.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £63,636 (2024: £63,636) by Tallington Lakes Site Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £60,000 (2024: £60,000) by Tallington Lakes Land Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £30,000 (2024: £30,000) by Tallington Lakes Activities Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £2,430 (2024: £2,430) by Tallington Lakes Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £50,000 (2024: £50,000) by Tallington Lakes Sales Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £29,342 (2024: £16,872) by Lakeside Clubhouse Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company owed £12,084 (2024: £729) to Leisure Site Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company owed £11,422 (2024: £11,422) to Activity Ventures Limited, a fellow subsidiary company.

As at the year end, the Company owed £2,704 (2024: £2,706) to a director in the company.

The company is controlled by Tallington Holdings Limited.
