Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Statement of Income and Retained Earnings, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the statement of financial position update. Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the statement of financial position date. Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that is it probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.

Dossiers of information about Naomi Kaplan Warren and Erna Reicher, both Holocaust survivors who were liberated from Bergen-Belsen were compiled and given to the memorial, to provide further research material for their archive. - Working with artists on the Life Lines exhibition of artworks created in response to the story of Naomi Kaplan Warren and Arthur Tyler at the liberation of Bergen-Belsen. - Providing historical context and feedback for the Remarkable Dance Company based at The Mill Arts Centre in Banbury for their development of a site-specific piece at the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum, inspired by the Naomi and Arthur: Letters from Liberation exhibition. Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders for the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum projects: - Holocaust Museum Houston. Myfanwy shared materials and expertise with their curators and educators. They translated the Naomi and Arthur exhibition into Spanish to reach their audience in Texas. - Holocaust Museum Houston and the Warren Family Foundation. Myfanwy worked closely with them to support their engagement with the evaluation of the Warren Fellowship for Future Teachers. - The families of Holocaust survivors who are featured in the Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum exhibition on the Liberation of Bergen-Belsen concentration camp where invited to visit the museum and discuss the exhibition. This was done explicitly to show that the museum still appreciates and acknowledges the contribution of their family member to the narrative of the liberation that the museum exhibits. - The Warren family were closely consulted on how the visit to the Bergen-Belsen memorial should be structured and conducted, including with readings, personal tours, and an opportunity to say Kaddish. The No Run Club - members of the community group were consulted regarding their proposal to establish a CIC. The group followed up by successfully applying to register as a CIC in July 2025.
