The director considers that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006.

The members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - small entities.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the statement of comprehensive income in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

The financial statements were approved and authorised for issue by the board and were signed on its behalf on 7 July 2026.

General information

Lakeside Clubhouse Limited Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales, United Kingdom.  The address of the registered office is Tallington Lakes, Barholm Rd, Tallington, Stamford PE9 4RJ. 

The nature of the Company's operations and principal activities are that of public house and bar services.

2.Accounting policies

 
2.1

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the requirements and the Companies Act 2006 and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice 'Accounting by Limited Liabilities Partnerships'. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.

The preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 requires the use of certain critical accounting estimates. It also requires management to exercise judgment in applying the Company's accounting policies.

 
2.2

Revenue

Turnover comprimises revenue recognised by the company in respect of goods and services supplied during the period, exclusive of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

 
2.3

Taxation

Tax is recognised in profit or loss except that a charge attributable to an item of income and expense recognised as other comprehensive income or to an item recognised directly in equity is also recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.

The current income tax charge is calculated on the basis of tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date in the countries where the Company operates and generates income.


 
2.4

Debtors

Short-term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. Loans receivable are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment.

 
2.5

Cash and cash equivalents

Cash is represented by cash in hand and deposits with financial institutions repayable without penalty on notice of not more than 24 hours. Cash equivalents are highly liquid investments that mature in no more than three months from the date of acquisition and that are readily convertible to known amounts of cash with insignificant risk of change in value.

Related party transactions

The Company has taken advantage of the exemption available under FRS 102 section 33.1A where disclosures of transactions between group members are not required, provided that the subsidiary is wholly owned.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £43,578 (2024: £33,537) by Activities Venture Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company was owed £51,060 (2024: £44,708) by Leisure Site Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company was owed £20,000 (2024: £20,000) by Cobra (Cambs) Limited, a company under common control.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £12,000 (2024: £12,000) by Abacus (Kent) Operations Limited, a company under common control.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £20,000 (2024: £20,000) by Ping (Herts) Operations Limited, a company under common control.

As at the year end, the Company was owed £15,000 (2024: £15,000) by Leisure Venture Land Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company was owed £26,192 (2024: £26,192) by Tallington Lakes Activities Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company was owed £62,157 (2024: £62,157) by Tallington Lake Site Limited Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company owed £29,342 (2024: £29,342) to Tallington Restaurant & Bar Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company owed £42,606 (2024: £42,599) to Venture Lodges Limited, a fellow subsidiary company

As at the year end, the Company owed £4,553 (2024: £3,514) to K Abbott, a director in the company.
