In 2025, Polish Professionals Forum in Europe C.I.C. continued to deliver activities for the Polish community in Scotland, Polish professionals living across the United Kingdom, and the wider local community. Through our events and projects, we continued to fulfil our objectives of supporting the development of Polish professionals, promoting the positive contribution of the Polish community, and building bridges between Poles, Scots and other communities across the United Kingdom. During the reporting year, the company undertook the following activities: Attended meetings and initiatives relevant to the Polish community in Scotland and Polish – Scottish relations, including engagement with wider community networks, the Consulate General of the Repub-lic of Poland in Edinburgh, and other Polish organisations in Scotland. Participated in the Polish Diaspora Leaders Academy and training programme in Warsaw, Poland. This provided an opportunity to engage with Polish diaspora organisations from around the world and to develop practical skills in areas including marketing, social media, artificial intelligence and organisational management. Participated in the Forum of Polish Organisations in Scotland and maintained contact with other Polish and community organisations. Organised and supported networking, community engagement and professional development activities for Polish professionals and friends of Poland. Supported and promoted cultural, educational and community initiatives connected with Polish heritage, identity and language, as well as the contribution of the Polish community to Scotland and the wider United Kingdom. Organised the Scottish edition of the “Portrait of Mother” art competition for children and young people from Polish Saturday Schools and the wider local community. The project was delivered in cooperation with partners including The Portrait Foundation and Polish schools, with support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh. Organised a fundraising event combined with a professional development lecture for women, supported by Hobbs London. Continued to strengthen PPF’s role as a platform for Polish professionals, community leaders and friends of Poland, including through the promotion of civic engagement, cultural diplomacy and grass-roots diplomacy. Promoted Polish professionals, Polish culture, Polish heritage and Polish–Scottish cooperation through online communication, social media activity, meetings and partnership work. The company’s activities benefited the community by creating opportunities for Polish professionals and community members to connect, exchange knowledge, participate in civic and cultural life, and contribute to the positive image of the Polish community in Scotland and across the wider United King-dom. Cultural and educational projects, including children’s art initiatives, supported young people, families and Polish Saturday Schools, while also promoting the Polish language, heritage and identity. Through these activities, PPF continued to act as a bridge between Polish communities, Scottish institutions, local communities, professional networks and friends of Poland.
The organisation’s stakeholders are Polish professionals living in the United Kingdom, members of the Polish community in Scotland, Polish community organisations, Polish Saturday Schools, friends of Poland, partner organisations, event participants and members of the wider local community who take part in or benefit from our activities. Our events and initiatives are open to the public, and we welcome participation from anyone interested in Polish – Scottish cooperation, professional networking, community development, cultural diplomacy and the positive contribution of the Polish community. The organisation consults stakeholders through direct conversations, email communication, event registration, feedback after events, committee discussions, cooperation with partner organisations and informal consultation with community leaders and participants. We also listen to feedback received through our social media channels and from members of the wider Polish community. Feedback from stakeholders helps us understand community needs, identify relevant topics for future events, improve communication, develop new projects, and ensure that PPF continues to deliver activities that are useful, inclusive and relevant to the Polish community and wider public.
