2 SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of preparation of financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with applicable United Kingdom accounting standards, including Financial Reporting Standard 102 Section 1A smaller entities 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' ('FRS 102') and the Companies Act 2006.
Revenue recognition
Income is measured at the fair value of consideration received or receivable. It is recognised in respect of service charges and lease premiums as soon as there is a right to consideration and is determined by reference to the value of the work performed.
The company recognises revenue when the amount of revenue can be measured reliably and when it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the entity.

2 SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES (continued…)
Financial Instruments
A financial asset or financial liability is recognised only when the entity becomes a party to the contractual provisions of the instrument.
The company only enters into basic financial instruments transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities like trade and other accounts receivable and payable, loans from banks and other third parties, loans to related parties and investments in non-puttable ordinary shares.
Where investments in non-derivative financial instruments are publicly traded, or their fair value can otherwise be measured reliably, the investment is subsequently measured at fair value in the income and expenditure account.
Basic financial assets and financial liabilities are initially recognised at transaction price and measured at amortised cost using the effective interest method unless the arrangement constitutes a financing transaction. They are subsequently carried at their amortised cost using the effective interest rate method, less any provision for impairment. If the effect of the time value of money is immaterial, they are measured at cost less impairment.
Basic financial assets and liabilities which are measured at cost or amortised cost are reviewed for objective impairment at each balance sheet date. If there is objective evidence of impairment, an impairment loss is recognised in the income and expenditure account immediately.
Any reversals of impairment are recognised in the income and expenditure account immediately, to the extent that the reversal does not result in a carrying amount of the financial asset or liability which exceeds what the carrying amount would have been had the impairment loss not previously been recognised.
Financing transactions are measured at the present value of the future receipts discounted at a market rate of interest. They are subsequently measured at amortised costs using the effective interest method. Discounting is omitted where the effect of discounting is immaterial.
Debtors
Short term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment.
Creditors
Short term trade creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and subsequently at amortised cost.

2 SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES (continued…)
Taxation
Taxation expense represents the aggregate amount of current tax and deferred tax recognised in the reporting period.
A current tax liability is recognised for the tax payable on the taxable surplus of the current and past periods based on current tax rates and laws. A current tax asset is recognised in respect of a tax loss that can be carried back to recover tax paid in a previous period.
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences between the recognition of income and expenses in the financial statements and their inclusion in tax assessments. Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other taxable surpluses.
Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Current and deferred tax assets and liabilities are not discounted.
