Company activities and impact

The Working Collective CIC provided actor training and theatre development opportunities, supporting working-class and global majority actors. It also worked with emerging production companies and early-career filmmakers. These activities created opportunities for actors to continue developing their craft, between jobs and build sustainable creative networks within the industry. The organisation supported both early-career artists and working actors, recognising the challenges of inconsistent employment and limited access to affordable training within the arts sector.

Directors received modest payments during the reporting period for services and work undertaken in support of the CIC’s activities and operations. No dividends were paid and no assets were transferred other than in the ordinary course of the CIC’s activities.
