We began with the aim to provide free opportunities and classes to the youth in our city. Running Boxing and Muay Thai classes across Greater Manchester, in Libraries, Community Centres, and Parks, we have worked with hundreds of young people and families over the last few years. We have been providing activities and opportunities for our communities, we are currently based in Swinton, Salford. We provide sport and exercise classes along with activities for all ages and fitness abilities across Greater Manchester. We aim to work closely with our local council and schools to ensure the youth of today have opportunities on offer. The facility is a safe space for youths to come and talk confidentiality about any issues they might be facing to our mentors and volunteers. 0161 gym provides classes open to the public as well as closed sessions with schools and youth sports teams. During 2024/25 we provided regular classes for children and youth boxing, calisthenics, family boxing classes where families can train together, we ran a family fun day for the whole community to try out what we do, started a women-only class and we began refitting the premises to make it more accessible.
