COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

WINGS COMMUNITY SUPPORT C.I.C.

Company Number: 16017297 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2025

Company activities and impact

Our primary community interest objective is to purchase a dedicated holiday caravan to provide free or heavily subsidized respite breaks for people with disabilities and their families. This project was launched specifically to fill a critical gap left behind by other local charities that have recently withdrawn their respite break services, leaving vulnerable families in our community without support. As this requires significant capital, the company has launched a dedicated 3-year fundraising strategy. During this initial financial period, activities focused on laying the administrative groundwork, setting up our community shop, raising initial seed capital, and growing our brand. While no direct community holiday breaks were delivered this year as resources are being preserved for the caravan purchase, the shop has successfully operated as a fantastic community hub. We currently support 20 active volunteers, 6 of whom live with mental health conditions or physical restrictions. These individuals have found working within our community shop to be an incredibly rewarding, therapeutic, and vital part of their week, driving social inclusion and confidence.
