Accountants' Report
In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the financial statements of Flair Stairs Limited for the year ended 31 October 2025 which comprise the Profit and Loss Account, the Balance Sheet, and the related notes from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us.
As a practising member firm of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, we are subject to its ethical and other professional requirements which are detailed at http://www.cimaglobal.com.
This report is made solely to the directors of Flair Stairs Limited in accordance with our terms of engagement. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the financial statements of Flair Stairs Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to the directors of Flair Stairs Limited in this report in accordance with the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants as detailed at http://www.cimaglobal.com. For the year ending 31 October 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Profit and Loss Account.

Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Flair Stairs Limited is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 09283563 . The registered office is Unit 6 Kenwood Farm, Harthall Lane, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 8SD.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.
2.2. Going Concern Disclosure
These accounts are prepared on a going concern basis given the continued support of the directors, bank and loan
creditors.
2.3. Turnover
Revenue is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, valueadded tax and other sales taxes.
2.4. Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation
Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases:

2.5. Stocks and Work in Progress
Work in progress is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value.
Cost is calculated using the first-in, first-out method and includes all purchase, transport, and handling costs in bringing inventories to their present location and condition.
2.6. Taxation
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or
substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
2.7. Pensions
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate.

2.8. Deferred Tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.

During May 2020, the company availed itself of the Govt-backed Coronavirus Bounce-back Loan Scheme. There was no interest payable nor capital repayments due for the first year. Over the remaining 5 year loan term, the loan is repayable by equal instalments with interest at 2.5%. There are no penalties on early redemption.
