Statement of directors' responsibilities
The director is responsible for preparing the report and accounts in accordance with applicable law and regulations. Company law requires the director to prepare accounts for each financial year. Under that law, the director has elected to prepare the accounts in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law). Under company law the director must not approve the accounts unless they are satisfied that they give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company and of the profit or loss of the company for that period. In preparing these accounts, the director is required to: • select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently; • make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; • prepare the accounts on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business. The director is responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the company's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the company and enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the Companies Act 2006. He is also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the company and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

In order to assist you to fulfil your duties under the Companies Act 2006, we have prepared for your approval the accounts of Stable Plastics Limited for the year ended 31 March 2026 as set out on pages 6-8 from the company's accounting records and from information and explanations you have given us. This report is made solely to the director of Stable Plastics Limited as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement. Our work has been undertaken solely to prepare for your approval the accounts of Stable Plastics Limited and state those matters that we have agreed to state to them, as a body, in this report. 1 Statutory information
The company is a private company, limited by shares and is registered in England and Wales. The address of the registered office is 17 Gloucester Road, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 0EJ.
2 Accounting policies
2.1 Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2 Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when goods have been delivered to customers such that risks and rewards of ownership have transferred to them. Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a contract is measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.
2.3 Tangible fixed assets
Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less accumulated depreciation and accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided to write down the cost of tangible fixed assets, on a straight line basis, to their residual values over their estimated useful lives as follows:
