During the financial year, Active Future Sutton CIC delivered inclusive sports and physical activity programmes for children and young people within the local community. Our activities included after-school clubs, holiday programmes, and community sports sessions designed to improve physical health, wellbeing, confidence, and social interaction. We worked with local schools and community partners to provide accessible opportunities for children of all abilities, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through these activities, we helped young people stay active, develop new skills, build friendships, and foster a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity, creating a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the community.
Active Future Sutton CIC's key stakeholders include children and young people, parents and carers, local schools, community organisations, coaches, volunteers, and funding partners. We consulted stakeholders through informal conversations, feedback from parents and participants, discussions with schools, and post-activity surveys where appropriate. Feedback highlighted the importance of providing inclusive, enjoyable, and affordable activities, as well as offering a wider range of sports and convenient session times. In response, we continued to develop our programme by expanding activity options, improving communication with families, and ensuring our sessions remained accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the local community.
