Principal activities of the company

The principal activity of South Norfolk Radio CIC during the year was the provision of a community-focused radio broadcasting service for the benefit of residents across South Norfolk and the surrounding area. The company provided an inclusive platform for local voices, music, culture, news, information and discussion through programmes produced and presented by its volunteer team.

4. Financial Commitments

As at 31 October 2025, South Norfolk Radio CIC has the following financial commitments: Lease Agreement. The company leases a room at Wymondham Heritage Museum under a standard agreement. Monthly rent: £77.26. Annual obligation: £927.14. Lease duration: Rolling month. Other commitments: No additional financial commitments were entered into during the reporting period.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year ended 31 October 2025, South Norfolk Radio CIC continued to deliver a community-focused radio broadcasting service for the benefit of residents across South Norfolk and the surrounding area. The station provided an inclusive platform for local voices, music, culture, news, information and discussion through a diverse schedule of programmes produced and presented by our volunteer team. Throughout the year, we supported local charities, community groups, schools, local businesses and cultural organisations by providing airtime, interviews and promotional coverage of community initiatives, events and services. These activities helped raise awareness of local opportunities, strengthen community engagement and encourage greater participation in local life. Our volunteers continued to gain valuable experience in broadcasting, media production, communication, interviewing and teamwork, providing opportunities to develop practical skills while contributing to a sustainable community radio service

Consultation with stakeholders

Throughout the financial year, South Norfolk Radio CIC engaged with listeners, presenters, volunteers, local organisations, charities, businesses and community representatives through social media, direct communication, volunteer meetings, listener feedback and community events. Feedback received during the year helped shape programme content, scheduling and operational improvements, ensuring the station continues to reflect the interests, needs and diversity of the communities it serves while delivering its community interest objectives.
