COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

LET’S GET OUR KNICKERS IN A TWIST CIC

Company Number: 16032036 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2025

Company activities and impact

During this financial year, Let’s Get Our Knickers in a Twist CIC distributed roughly 20,000 pairs of new underwear to women in need. Donations reached over 25 locations across the UK and more than 30 women’s services, including repeat donations to Women’s Aid and HMP services. The organisation ran over 30 community events during the year, engaging donors directly in fundraising and awareness-raising for pant poverty. Media coverage included three BBC interviews and more than ten articles written about the organisation’s work, contributing to wider public understanding of an issue that receives little attention compared to period poverty. This activity delivered a direct community benefit: providing a basic hygiene and dignity item to women in vulnerable circumstances who would otherwise go without it, while building awareness of a gap in support that existing donation and charity systems do not address.
