1
Statutory information
Fletcher Lettings Limited is a private company, limited by shares, registered in Scotland, registration number SC463390. The registered office is New Alderston House, 3 Dove Wynd, Bellshill, ML4 3FB, United Kingdom.

Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
3
Accounting policies
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
Tangible fixed assets and depreciation
Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful lives:
Plant & machinery
25% SL
Investment property
Investment property, which is property held to earn rentals and/or capital appreciation, is initially recognised as costs, which includes the purchase costs and any directly attributable expenditure. Subsequently, it is measured at fair value at the reporting end date. The surplus or deficit on revaluation is recognised through the profit or loss account. The Directors have assessed the fair value of the investment property at the reporting date and concluded that there has been no material change in value during the year. Accordingly, no fair value gain or loss has been recognised in the profit and loss account.
Revenue recognition policy
Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods have transferred to the buyer. Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a contract is measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.
Deferred taxation
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences between the recognition of income and expenses in the financial statements and their inclusion in tax assessments. Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. Deferred tax is measured using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference, except for revalued land and investment property where the tax rate that applies to the sale of the asset is used. Current and deferred tax assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Foreign currency translation and operations policy
Transactions in foreign currencies are initially recognised at the rate of exchange ruling at the date of the transaction. At the end of each reporting period foreign currency monetary items are translated at the closing rate of exchange. Non-monetary items that are measured at historical cost are translated at the rate ruling at the date of the transaction. All differences are charged to profit or loss.
