Principal activities of the company

Cats Protection Trustee Limited was set up in 2008 to act as sole trustee of Cats Protection (the charity). The company acts as the corporate trustee of Cats Protection, and assets in the name of the company are held for and on behalf of the charity. The objects of the company are broadly drawn so as to embrace the charitable objects of the charity. The Directors consider that exercising Trusteeship over the charitable assets of Cats Protection is of public benefit to all those that the charity itself benefits. Cats Protection Trustee is a company limited by guarantee (company reg. no. 06772997) with no share capital.

If we identify such material inconsistencies or apparent material misstatements, we are required to determine whether this gives rise to a material misstatement in the financial statements themselves. If, based on the work we have performed, we conclude that there is a material misstatement of this other information. We are required to report that fact. We have nothing to report in this regard.

Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
