During 2025 and into 2026, Harrold Cricket Club CiC has continued to build on the work in the previous year, the improvement of the playing surface has allowed more games to be played and the teams have been extended to a 2nd team on a Sunday along with the Saturday teams, this has allowed the community to get more involved with more cricket available, there have also been some community and charity days played during the year, again allowing more community participation. We continue to improve the look and feel of the clubhouse, with new sofa's, chairs, cushions and blankets provided. We continue to provide opportunities for the younger players within the community with training in the summer and the winter, and have upskilled a number of players to become coaches who can support the community as a whole. We are working with the Harrold Playing Field Association, to offer more choice in the bar area and we run a weekly BBQ during the Summer along side the Youth training, this is well supported by the community, some of whom are not playing members, so a reach outside of the club itself. We have set out our plans for 2026, this will include investing some of the club funds to improving facilities again with a view to further encouraging participation.
We have regular meetings with a number of the players and some of the parents of the younger members, we are in constant discussion with Harrold Playing Field Association and have a presence in their meeting to ensure we are mutually benefitting the community together. We regularly receive feedback and comments through the Social Media platforms, and we respond accordingly and take action where an issue may have been raised
