During the financial year 2024 to 2025, Northerly Winds CIC delivered a programme of live professional music performance and education activity across the North West of England, with a focus on accessibility, diversity, and reaching communities who may not otherwise encounter high-quality live classical music. The ensemble performed at a range of concerts and festivals across the region, including a free concert at the Anthony Burgess Foundation in Manchester in December 2024, WACIDOM in March 2025, Crosby Music Festival in July 2025, St John's Sandiway in September 2025, and Spring Bank Arts in Derbyshire in November 2025, bringing live wind quintet music to audiences across the North West. A Women in Music concert in March 2025 was offered on a pay-what-you-can basis, actively removing financial barriers to attendance whilst highlighting works written exclusively by female composers. This raised awareness of under-represented voices in the classical music canon and contributed to a broader cultural conversation about diversity and representation in the arts. A central strand of the ensemble's community work was education. Northerly Winds delivered a coaching and performance day at Holy Cross College in April 2025, working directly with A Level music students on repertoire within their examination criteria. This gave young musicians rare and valuable access to professional performers and directly supported their academic study. Throughout the year, Northerly Winds maintained a commitment to programming music by under-represented composer, including works by Mary Howe, Florence Maunders, and Valerie Coleman, ensuring that audiences encountered repertoire that reflects a wide range of voices and experiences.

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £1,045.20. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director's loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
