Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Zentrax Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 15815482 . The registered office is Tradepeg, Sutherland House, 70-78 W Hendon Broadway, London, NW9 7BT.
The presentation currency of the financial statements is the Pound Sterling (£).
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
The accounts have been prepared on the going concern basis as the directors are of the opinion that the company will meet its liabilities as and when due, due to the continued support of the director and shareholder.
2.2. Turnover
Turnover comprises interest income earned on loans advanced to other companies. Interest income is recognised in the profit and loss account using the effective interest method over the term of the loans.
2.3. Financial Instruments
Basic financial assets, including trade debtors and loans to other companies, are initially recognised at transaction price. Subsequently, interest-bearing loans are measured at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment. Short-term debtors with no stated interest rate are measured at the undiscounted amount of the cash expected to be received, less any impairment. Any losses arising from impairment are recognised in the profit and loss account.
2.4. Foreign Currencies
Monetary assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rate ruling on the date of the transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating profit.
2.5. Taxation
Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
2.6. Deferred Taxation
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the period end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.
2.7. Short term debtors and creditors
Short-term debtors and creditors with no stated interest rate are recorded at transaction price. Any losses arising from impairment are recognised in the profit and loss account.
