Company activities and impact

The company's activities provide clear community benefit by supporting young people who face barriers linked to poverty, exclusion, and limited opportunity in some of Luton's most deprived wards. During the year, Luton Jets Sports CIC: -Delivered over 10 hours of structured football and basketball sessions each week for young people aged 5–18 -Supported children and young people with SEND and those receiving Pupil Premium funding -Ran a mentoring and life skills program alongside a volunteer pathway towards coaching qualifications -Delivered community engagement and talent identification sessions at Chalk Hills Academy (Lewsey Farm) and Lea Manor (Marsh Farm) -Supported players into progression pathways, including placements at external sports academies Beneficiaries include young people with SEND and SEMH needs, those eligible for Pupil Premium or free school meals, those at risk of exclusion, and young people living in Luton's higher-crime wards. The company contributes to improved wellbeing, reduced social isolation, increased physical activity, and progression into further training, education, or sporting pathways for participants.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company engages regularly with players, parents and carers, and partner schools through the ongoing delivery of sessions and structured feedback processes. Consultation methods include: -Yearly feedback surveys for parents to give feedback on sessions -Parent meetings held before and after each season -Player feedback forms, allowing players to feedback on how the organization is run This feedback informs ongoing service development and future planning.
