During the financial year, A-Fest Andover CIC delivered the eleventh edition of A-Fest, Andover’s family festival, on Andover High Street, in April 2025. The event brought together thousands of local residents, with a particular focus on supporting children, young people and their families through a free, accessible day of activities, performances and community engagement. The festival provided local charities, clubs, community organisations and public services with an opportunity to showcase their work, connect with residents and encourage participation in community life. A wide range of organisations attended, including youth groups, mental health charities, emergency services and voluntary organisations, helping residents discover the support and opportunities available to them locally. A-Fest also contributed positively to the local economy, increasing footfall in Andover town centre and supporting local businesses, traders and independent retailers. Several businesses that do not usually open on Sundays chose to do so for the event and reported a successful day of trading. The company worked closely with local authorities, volunteers, sponsors and community partners to ensure that the festival remained free to attend and accessible to all, particularly at a time when many families continue to face cost-of-living pressures.
