ELLERGREEN YOUNG PEOPLES PROJECT CIC offers open access via a drop-in service to young persons between the ages of 8-18 years in the local community. The company offers half term and summer programmes as well as positive activities and some detached youth work sessions for the same age range. These services are offered in Scargreen Pavillion which is in the heart of the community. The service has provided social inclusion as well as work youth sessions throughout this 12 month period. The social inclusion stimulates mental and physical well being and youths in the local area and wider community. In addition to this we have provided employment to ten staff and two volunteers.
The Ellergreen YPP Directors, Volunteers and client’s families are the Stakeholders of the company. An evaluation has been undertaken in each year the project has been running as well as regular consultation via verbal and written surveys have been carried out, this has found to be the best process in reviewing the service needs of the clients and has therefore been implemented for this operating year also. It has been identified during the evaluations that the service that THE Ellergreen YPP has provided has exceeded its expected level year upon year. The future plan is to continue running the group in the same capacity with a provision to possibly extend services if financially viable to do so.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
